'Winni' chair.

This is often mistaken, and sold as, the Ib Kofod-Larsens shell chair, but this is actually an early IKEA chair from 1956. The usual differences are that the Ikea chair always came with an upholstered/padded backrest and four metal "rivets" at the back. This has been discussed in swedish design forums and is also visible by comparing the chairs together with the original Ikea catalogue from 1956. That said the early Ikea items are getting very collectable of lately. Many items were produced at the same factories in Sweden and Denmark as high profile and famous scandinavian designer pieces.

The chair is in good used condition. The upholstery and fabric is in very good condition for its age. The fabric is in a pale green colour. The right backleg has some discolouration on the lower 4 cm. See picture.
