"Tenor" armchairs, Norway

$2,500.00

This is a pair of "Tenor" chairs produced by Møre Lenestolfabrikk in the late 50`s. They were, until recently, though to be "Rastad & Relling, but has recently been discovered this isn't the case. Anyway, still fantastic looking and by a quality maker. The sisters of the also famous "Kornett" and "Klarinett" chairs and part of the "TV-serie"-series...

These are getting very sough after and has probably the most gorgeously shaped rosewood armrests from the Norwegian manufacturers of the time.

Dark red woolmix fabric from Gudbransdalens Uldvarefabrikk. This has some wear at the back of the backrest, possibly where they have scratched against the wall, but are in generally really good condition for their age. Please study the photos.

The frame and woodwork is in beautiful condition.

Price is per chair.
